Wayne Thomas

Wayne is OneReg’s regulatory and aviation expert with a passion for invention and innovation. With more than 25 years’ experience in engineering, regulatory and operational disciplines, he has worked as an operator and also a regulator in both the military and civil aviation sectors in New Zealand and internationally. This gives him a deep understanding of the challenges which drive, as well as constrain, compliance in the operational space and how they can be resolved.

Wayne fills his spare time building, creating and repairing all manner of items, from driving nails through wood and laying concrete, to soldering custom PCBs and writing software. He’s also an avid amateur beer taster with dreams of going semi-professional.
